If you are interested in Directing for WACT, please choose your play, write out your suggestions and send them to Bev Vanderpool at [email protected]. We will take all offers under consideration and make our selection by vote at a WACT Board meeting.

It is our honor and we are very proud to have actors from Wabash County as well as the surrounding areas. Please see our "Events" page for information about upcoming productions and auditions!

Our productions require many volunteers including stage managers, dressers, stage hands, and others.

Our set builders work with directors to create sets that reflect the director’s artistic vision while working around limitations such as budget.

Every show requires some sort of costumes ranging from pieces from actors’ own closets to period pieces and fanciful costumes. The show’s costumer helps to obtain the costumes needed for the show, and seamstress volunteers help with fittings, alterations, and even making costumes from scratch. Volunteers are always needed to help gather items from hand props to furniture.

BECOME A MEMBER

All interested individuals are encouraged to become members of Wabash Area Community Theater (WACT)!  You need not participate on stage. You don't have to be handy with tools to assist with set construction. You do not have to play an instrument to help in the pit orchestra. Having a supportive audience is equally important! There is still a place for you in WACT. You are invited to become a member and show your support for local theater arts in this community!
